MARTIN E. OGLE, MD, ELECTED CHAIR OF MEDAMERICA MUTUAL

Walnut Creek, CA - MedAmerica Mutual Risk Retention Group, Inc.'s Board of
Directors has named Martin E. Ogle, MD, as their new Chair of the Board and of the
Governance Committee. Dr. Ogle, an emergency department physician, replaces
John E. Osborne, MD, who served six consecutive terms as Chair. Dr. Ogle has been
a member of MedAmerica Mutual's Board of Directors since 1992 and has served as
Vice Chair, Treasurer, Chair of the Compensation Committee, and as a member of
the Finance Committee and Nomination Subcommittee. Dr. Osborne plans to remain
an active member of the Board and Governance Committee.

first involvement with the founding of the Mutual. His election as Chair comes at a

of John Osborne," said Dr. Ogle. "I certainly like the direction we're heading as a

mission forward in a partnership with management and my fellow Board members."

Dr. Ogle received his undergraduate degree from Washington University, St. Louis,
Missouri and his MD from the University of Iowa. He completed his residency in
Emergency Medicine at the University of Arizona and is Board Certified in Emergency
Medicine. Dr. Ogle serves as a Regional Medical Director for California Emergency
Physicians. Prior to this, he served as Medical Director of Riverside County
Emergency Medical Services Agency, as Chair of the Department of Emergency
Medicine at Riverside General Hospital, and Medical Director of the Emergency
Department at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Ogle's professional affiliations include the Orange County Medical Association, the
California Medical Association, the American College of Emergency Physicians
(ACEP), the California Chapter of ACEP, and the Society of Orange County
Emergency Physicians.
