MedAmerica Mutual Makes Management Changes and Selects Claims Vice President from MedMal Industry

Jayme Vaccaro To Be MedAmerica Mutual's Vice President, Claims, Walnut Creek, Calif. (January 26, 2004) - MedAmerica Mutual Risk Retention Group, Inc., specializing in professional liability medical malpractice insurance, announced today that Ms. Jayme Vaccaro, formerly with The Doctors' Company, will join MedAmerica Mutual as Vice President, Claims effective February 14, 2005. In this capacity, Ms. Vaccaro will be responsible for managing the
Mutual's claims management discipline, assuming the position from Susan MacLean who retiresfrom the Company on February 25, 2005. Ms. Vaccaro will work closely with Gloria H. Everett,Chief Executive Officer, on claims management.

Ms. Vaccaro earned a Bachelor of Administration from the California State University at Chico
and a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Oregon.

The Company is also pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Kevin Cichurski to Vice
President, Underwriting and Policyholder Services. "With over 14 years of experience in
professional liability underwriting and policyholder services, Mr. Cichurski has demonstrated to
MedAmerica Mutual over the last year his keen understanding of underwriting management," said Gloria Everett, CEO, MedAmerica Mutual RRG, Inc.

Prior to joining MedAmerica Mutual in January 2004, Mr. Cichurski was formerly with The
Doctors' Company and Program BETA. He is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and is a licensed fire and casualty lines broker.

Mr. Cichurski earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rider University,
New Jersey, and a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University,
Florida.
